Erik graduated from Howard University in 2010 with a B.A. in Communications & Business. In the last 10+ years, he’s accumulated a wealth of experience that has molded him into a dynamic sales professional who specializes in strategic partnerships. With an in-depth knowledge of culture, marketing, and brand building, he has led multidisciplinary teams across a range of industries including Ad Sales (Yelp), Fintech (Square), and travel. His client list has included United Airlines, American Airlines, Marriott, Airbnb, Expedia, Google Pixel, and Dubai Tourism.
As Vice President of Brand Partnerships, Erik will lead the company’s business development initiatives within domestic and international markets and facilitate creative brand & celebrity collaborations. His personal and professional mission is to build sustainable companies, economically empower underestimated communities, and elevate the importance of HBCUs.
